Lauren Batschowanow - Founder & Facilitator

Lauren is a facilitator, acting coach, filmmaker, and performance specialist with over 20 years’ experience across the creative industries and corporate sectors. Her work sits at the intersection of performance, communication, and human behaviour in professional environments, helping teams strengthen confidence, presence, and collaboration under pressure. Before founding Global Acting Academy, Lauren worked across a range of industries including financial services, retail, telecommunications, legal technology, e-commerce, digital media, events, and film—giving her a practical understanding of how communication impacts performance in fast-moving organisational settings. Her feature film Dangerous Desires was selected for international film festivals across North America, receiving multiple nominations and winning Best International Feature Film at the Illinois International Film Festival. Her early coaching and directing work has supported performers to gain entry into leading performing arts institutions, succeed in competitions, and secure professional contracts—while also helping individuals build confidence in communication and self-expression. Today, Lauren brings these combined disciplines into the corporate world through Global Acting Academy, designing experiential programs that help teams improve: communication under pressure leadership presence collaboration and trust within teams Her focus is simple: helping people perform better in real moments that matter.
